The Remedy story…
A Grosse Pointe native, my path to general contracting began with hands-on experience learning carpentry, drywall, painting, and masonry from residential contractors here and on the East Coast.
Moving to a career in the film industry, I honed my skills as a creative thinker, problem solver and manager, directing content and commercials for major brands. But I couldn’t stay away from Michigan or the work I found most rewarding, earning my residential builder’s license and opening Remedy.
I’m on the job site everyday, doing much of the work myself, bringing in additional trusted trades as needed. In addition to a growing list of clients in the Grosse Pointe area, I also completed major gut renovations of a three-story Brooklyn brownstone and a 100-year-old farmhouse on Long Island. In addition to my trade skills, my time in film taught me how to service customers, think visually and run jobs efficiently. When things start aligned, projects run smoother, stay on track, and the end result shows it.
