The Remedy story…

I grew up in Grosse Pointe, and my path into general contracting started 100% hands-on—learning carpentry, drywall, painting, and masonry from residential contractors both here and on the East Coast.

I later moved into the film industry, where I worked as a director creating content and commercials for major brands. That experience really sharpened my instincts as a creative thinker, problem solver, and project manager. But I kept coming back to Michigan—and to the kind of work I found most rewarding—so I earned my residential builder’s license and started Remedy Restoration.

These days, I’m on-site every day, doing a good portion of the work myself and bringing in trusted trades when needed. Along with a growing list of clients in the Grosse Pointe area, I’ve also completed full gut renovations on a three-story brownstone in Brooklyn and a 100-year-old farmhouse on Long Island.

My background in film still shapes how I work—I’m big on clear communication, visual thinking, and keeping projects running efficiently. When everyone starts aligned, things tend to move smoother, stay on track, and the end result speaks for itself.
